District Returning officer Rohana Keerthi Dissanayake stated that nearly 60% of voters had cast their vote in Badulla by 2PM.

Meanwhile, District Secretary A Pathinaathan stated that the voter turnout of Moneragala is also reported to be above 50%.

Voting will conclude at 4PM.
